Episode synopsis
The Shang army was defeated and retreated to Juelong Ridge. Wen Zhong was horrified when he remembered his master's prophecy when he came down the mountain, "You will never see a word Jue in your life." On the distant hilltop, Ji Fa and Jiang Ziya set up a banquet, drinking while admiring Wen Zhong's appearance. Mo Liqing struggled to the death and planned to kidnap King Wu to blackmail Xiqi into retreating. Lei Zhenzi arrived just in time and rescued his brother. Wen Zhong was unwilling to surrender and committed suicide. The poor souls of a generation of heroes were cut off from Longling, and the last pillar of the Shang Dynasty finally collapsed.

The television series are based on the classical 16th-century novel Fengshen Yanyi (also known as Investiture of the Gods or Creation of the Gods) written by Xu Zhonglin and Lu Xixing.
