Episode synopsis
King Zhou was afraid that the news of Queen Jiang's death would trigger the rebellion of Dongbohou, so he ordered the summons of Dongbohou and Xibohou to come to court and sing. Ji Chang picked up a baby on the way here and recognized him as his hundredth son. Later, the immortal Yun Zhongzi came down to earth, accepted the child as his disciple and named him Lei Zhenzi. Dong Bohou learned the news of his daughter's death from Huang Feihu. He was filled with grief and anger. He cursed King Zhou for his lack of justice in the court, and was brutally beaten by King Zhou.

The Investiture of the Gods is a 1990 Chinese shenmo television series written by Bing Tian, Gu Hanchang, Ouyang Yuping and Yu Youchen. The television series are based on the classical 16th-century novel Fengshen Yanyi (also known as Investiture of the Gods or Creation of the Gods) written by Xu Zhonglin and Lu Xixing.
