Episode synopsis
MIKI is put into a dilemma that the two brothers have fallen for her at the same time. She therefore decides to hide away from them. On the other hand, FREEMAN and RAY individually seek advice from SIN and LOI. To earn pocket money, CHING works as a delivery boy in HELEN’s shop where he meets LOI. LOI does not oppose to CHING’s working part-time. He also tells CHING that it is fun to be able to spend one’s own money and that the most important thing for a man is to be independent. It is only when RAY sends AKUBI cakes on behalf of MIKI that FREEMAN knows RAY likes MIKI as well. To protect RAY’s fragile mind, FREEMAN hesitates if he should back out. Man Tai-Lor (Chung King Fai) controls the Man family with an iron fist, much to the displeasure of his son Man Chiu-Kit (Ha Yu), who is constantly trying to assert his authority within the family. When Tai-Lor developed Parkinson's disease, he hides his anxieties by retiring from his job as a school principal and concealing his ailment from his family. When the truth is revealed, he decides to step down as the patriarch of his family and lets Chiu-Kit run the family.
