The story of the Prophet Jonah (Yūnus) is that of a man chosen by Allah to warn his people about their bad behavior and idol worship. The people of Jonah refused to listen to his call, and in his frustration, Jonah left their city without divine permission. However, Allah, in His wisdom and mercy, sent a great storm, and Jonah was swallowed by a large fish. In the depths of darkness and despair, Jonah sincerely repented, and Allah, seeing his repentance, saved him. The story of Jonah teaches the importance of sincere repentance and submission to the will of Allah.
