Episode synopsis
LONG and CHING go to have a walk along the beach. SIU YEE pays special attention to CHING for she wants to ensure that CHING is not falling in love with LONG. LONG carries out investigation at the elderly center and he sees a lot of paper cranes through his extrasensory eyes. CHING realizes that TSUN has been telling lies and TSUN promises that he will not see KEI again. LONG finds the answer eventually and he brings CHING to Kat Cheung Elderly House to carry out investigation. They find that MAN CHEUNG is the owner of the elderly center. CHING discovers that SAM SHUN is joining the activities at the elderly center and the resident MUI PO sends paper cranes to CHING. SHUN, MUI and CHEUNG are old friends. TSUN deletes the phone number and all messages of KEI and CHING decides to forgive him. CHEUNG informs the police that MUI is missing. TSUN carries out investigation and discovers the dead body of MUI……
About D.I.E.
In the police force, "Death Investigation Extension" or "D.I.E." was established to accommodate those who have been sent away by their supervisors. As everybody knows, members of the Extension are to investigate unsolved cold cases. Yue Chi-Long (Roger Kwok), who has cracked a large number of difficult cases by extrasensory means, is assigned to the D.I.E. because his superiors find him strange for falling asleep constantly on the job. New appointee Ying Jing-Jing (Sonija Kwok) is a good-looking girl but she takes an uncompromising stand over every case she deals with. Initially unaccepting of a division made of incompetent detectives, she is tricked into staying by her former supervisor, who claims that she was placed there to eventually replace the head and whip the team into shape.
