About
Although D.I.E had been dissolved and the officers returned to their previous departments, their odd habits continue to follow them, resulting in many troubles for the police force. The senior staff decide to bring the D.I.E back, this time headed by Lo Sir, Yue Sir's former supervisor. Yue Sir and Jing Jing have a baby boy and Jing jing returns to work after trying to be a housewife to no avail. Initially working with the homicide unit again, she is still always chasing Dai-Hau-Ying, and after several incidents is sent back to D.I.E. Ying seems to have become less evil than before, but Jing jing continues to attempt arrest, much to the chagrin of her supervisors.

YUE CHI LONG becomes a father recently. In order to take care of the baby, he doesn’t get enough sleep all the time. His supervisor LAW YAU HANG is upset about it but LONG tries to please him by praising his newly bought GPS PDA. YING CHING CHING is not pleased to become a full-time housewife after having a baby. The police are rehearsing for the security arrangement of the “Grand performance by the gold medal winners”. After being humiliated by the police of the Special Duty Unit, CHEUNG CHING YEE hits them angrily. While working as a presenter for the TV program “Police Report”, PANG MEI WAN flirts with her husband MAN LUNG in front of everybody. The audience and crew make complaints on her afterwards. Former team members of the D.I.E. gather together for producing a new police program on anti-vice operations. The team mistakenly catches the Commissioner of Police LAU YAT DING while he is committing adultery with his mistress.… ...

When looking at the CCTV, LONG and LUNG are shocked to find that the dead body of CHUNG LUI suddenly jumps up. Everybody believes that the dead body is haunted by the ghost but LONG believes that this is man-made. LONG goes out to carry out investigation but his team members ask him back for they found that SIU KEUNG’s dead body at the mortuary is dissected unexpectedly. LONG and LUNG believe that both cases are related. CHOI SANG from the Serious Crimes Unit comes to take over the case. He accidentally knocks LONG down. LONG touches the dead body and he suddenly sees weird images… SANG calls LUI’s younger brother CHUNG HON for investigation but he fails to find enough evidence to arrest him. SANG goes to “Match-up Line” to investigate the members record and he tries to question WONG TONG. LONG finds the contact number of LUI’s taxi-driver in HON’s home but he fails to find useful information from the taxi-driver.… ...

CHING returns to work at the Serious Crimes Unit and she wants to take over KEUNG’s case from SANG. LONG visits the pub where KEUNG used to hang around and he sees weird images again. While LONG is thinking through the images carefully, CHING informs him that the murderer is arrested already. HANG finds that LONG has got a lot of evidence on the case and he asks him to hand over them to the Serious Crimes Unit. All members of D.I.E. pretend to agree with HANG but they continue to carry out investigation secretly. SANG fails to find evidence to prove that TONG has killed KEUNG and TONG claims that he had only dissected KEUNG’s body after his death to release his anger. YEE devotes himself wholeheartedly to CHI CHING even if she has gone to study aboard. PUI PUI is deeply touched by him and she tries to teach him how to please CHI CHING. SANG learns that there will be an illegal munitions transaction.… ...

CHING is happy to return to the D.I.E. but LONG worries that they will have conflicts on work. CHI CHING informs LONG that she will not return during X’mas and LONG worries that her relationship with YEE cannot be maintained. HANG suggests organizing an intensive training for the team, hoping that they will resign during the harsh training. Policewoman PAK CHI reports duty at the D.I.E. and HANG is shocked to see his daughter. HANG brings everybody to a remote location for training. They find a cute cat-shaped stone there so everybody takes pictures with the stone. The village woman Madam FOON warns them that this may harass the Cat Demon. PAK CHI meets her old schoolmate MAN MAN and she learns that MAN’s older brother was killed by the Cat Demon. The village man Silly KEUNG is trying to kill the grocery shop owner CHING SUM with a paper knife and the team feels that this is a strange village.… ...

LUNG investigates the dead body and he believes that this person was killed by animal’s claws. LONG and CHING carry out investigation at SUM’s home. They discover that Silly KEUNG has sneaked into SUM’s home and he has become unconscious after taking many soft drugs. LONG sees some stage images upon touching the soft drugs. He sees a cat’s claw scratching him crazily… FOON reveals that a strange man is staying in the holiday flat and D.I.E. team arrests SHU BONG. LONG questions MAN again about her older brother’s death. He touches the photo of MAN’s brother and he sees some weird images again. LONG and CHING investigate the Cat Stone and they find a black cat hiding behind the stone. They follow the cat to a cave and find broken pieces of clothes that belong to MAN’s brother. They also find a broken claw there. FOON reveals that she has killed SUM. LONG rushes back to the holiday flat and MAN also claims that she is the murderer.… ...

LONG received an email from CHI CHING saying that she wants to separate with YEE. CHING discovers some bruises on her son's body and the couple decides to look after their son at the office. BONG makes a lot of mistakes at work and he is transferred to D.I.E. HANG is very upset about it. KAR TAI WAI confesses to the Serious Crimes Unit that he has killed someone in his dream. KEI believes that he is a psycho so he transfers the case to D.I.E. WAI claims that he will kill people in midnight. BONG and CHI are assigned to monitor him. They plans to leave after midnight but SANG suddenly arrives with his subordinates to arrest WAI for the murder he described had really happened. BONG describes the details of what happened in WAI's home to D.I.E. team and LONG suddenly sees some unusual images in his mind... CHI CHING calls YEE to reveal that she wants a separation and YEE is shocked.

PUI accompanies YEE all the way to console him but YEE accuses her for not telling the truth to him in the first place. D.I.E. team discovers that SIN MAN had just separated with her boyfriend SIU KAN before she died. They try to carry out investigation on KAN but the Serious Crimes Unit had approached him already. KAN claims that he is not the murderer for he was having one-night stand with a sexy lady on that night. CHING makes a bet with HANG that D.I.E. will find out the murderer. In order to save D.I.E. from being terminated, LONG and the team try hard to look for hints. PUI overhears the conversation between LONG and CHING on the murder case. She misconceives that YEE wants to commit suicide... All the team members in D.I.E. are puzzled for SIN MAN has called the police for help before committing suicide. FUNG and YEE try to look for information from GOLDFISH LO.… ...

The D.I.E. team tries to find out the reason for the murderer to delay his schedule in killing the person. LONG is inspired by what CHING says... LONG asks everybody to bring all the suspects to D.I.E. so that he could find the real murderer among them. PUI finds that YEE still misses CHI CHING so she encourages him to go to USA to look for her. LONG and CHING fail to find a suitable person to take care of their son. CHING insists that she doesn't want to give up her career. One TV presenter has received threatening letter from somebody and HANG asks LONG to carry out investigation on it. Everybody in D.I.E. is overjoyed to investigate the case and they go to the TV station together. The presenter of "Seconds to Fame", SZE HIM, hands over the threatening letter to LONG. CHING meets the TV presenter WING HUNG whom LONG admires and CHING is jealous. LONG and CHING fail to find a solution for their kid.… ...
