Episode synopsis
JIAQING becomes furious after discovering that HESHEN escaped again; whereas FUCHANG’AN explains that all his subordinates were killed when they tried to capture HESHEN. JIAQING is skeptical about what FUCHANG’AN said, so he temporarily detains him. Though ROYAL NOBLE CONSORT is grounded, she still shows sympathy towards GULUN PRINCESS HEXIAO, keeping her in the Jingren Palace for recuperation. While there, GULUN PRINCESS HEXIAO mistakes PRINCE MIANNING for her late son FU’EN and chases after him.
