About this season
Continuation of the detective TV series based on the novels of Alexandra Marinina. Filmed under the novels "The Illusion of Sin", "When the Gods Laugh", "The Stylist" and "The Seventh Sacrifice". It consists of 16 series, 4 series for each novel.

In a nightclub during a performance by the BBC, one of the visitors insults the group's soloist Svetlana Medvedeva. He is closely watched by a young guy. The same night, the raving visitor is killed. Major of Police Anastasia Kamenskaya proceeds to investigate this complicated case. It turns out that there were several similar murders. The only thing that united the victims was a visit to the concerts of the BBC group.

Anastasia Kamenskaya is launching an investigation into another series of brutal murders. All the victims are young people, who are united by addiction to drugs and business cards of gay club "Chance", found among things. The last corpse was found near the country village "Mechta". Coming there, Kamenskaya meets her former lover - Solovyov. Dotsenko is making inquiries. All the victims were really regular customers of the club "Chance" and had a friendship with a certain Mikhail Cherkasov. Korotkov is arrested by Cherkasov on suspicion of murder. Parallel to these events, two young men, Vanya and Dima, are prisoners of some kind of madman. He keeps them in a deep earthen pit, occasionally, throwing up another dose of drugs.

Kamenskaya and Tomilina take part in the space bridge "Women of unusual professions." During the broadcast, the host reads the message from one of the viewers. The message is a threat. But to whom is it addressed? Kamenskaya or Tomilina? A corpse of a woman who was on the eve of a teleconference was found. It was she who gave the presenter an ominous message. Near the corpse was found a ceramic fish with a wide open mouth and a plastic naked. Tomilina and Kamenskaya begin to check on their former prisoners, perhaps one of them decided to take revenge. Nastya gives an unusual nickname to the murderer - Joker.
