About this season
A fresh take on an established favorite in which 12 celebrity kids will be partnered with professional junior ballroom dancers to perform choreographed routines.

1. The Premiere

The full cast of contestants performs in the opening number, then each couple performs a cha cha, salsa, foxtrot or jive. Two teams are eliminated.
2. Song From the Year I Was Born

The ten remaining celebrity kids each set out to dance to a song that came out the year they were born, with one couple eliminated.
3. Disney Night
Aired 21 October 2018 • 60 min
The nine couples dance to songs from Disney movies, with one couple eliminated.
4. Halloween Night

5. Juniors Choice
Aired 11 November 2018 • 60 min
The seven remaining celebrity kids choose the song they dance to; an elimination.
6. Giving Thanks

The six remaining celebrity kids each dedicate a dance to those who have inspired and impacted their lives; Stevie Wonder performs.
7. Time Machine

The five remaining participants travel to the past and future and perform a dance from their chosen era.
8. The Semi-Finals

The contestants, mentors, judges and hosts join for a dance number; the four remaining kid couples advance to the semifinals, where they each perform two dances.
9. The Finale (Holiday Special)
Aired 9 December 2018 • 60 min
The final couples each reprise a favorite dance they performed during the season, then perform a no-holds-barred freestyle to a special holiday-themed song; one couple takes home the Juniors Mirrorball trophy.
