Episode synopsis
Animal photographer Iwago Mitsuaki travels to Furano, Hokkaido! With his back to a row of poplar trees, a cat dives into a shining green wheat field. At an art museum in the forest, a 16-day-old baby cat lets out a cute cry. At a pension overlooking the mountains, he meets a cat that moved here from Singapore. At a ryokan in Furano city, two mascot cats take turns climbing atop its favorite antique clock. In Minamifurano town, he finds a cat by the river surrounded by thickets of butterbur. It is playing happily in a handmade wooden house. Narrated by Tsukamoto Takashi.
