Episode synopsis
Iwago, who has photographed cats all over the world, wanted to visit previous Olympic venues in 2020 to see how the cats live there. He chose Athens, where the first modern Olympic Games were held. Upon entering the stadium, he found the spectator seats made entirely of marble, and was greeted by a calico cat. The town, home to people who had migrated from the Greek islands, has white-walled alleyways, a place that cats would surely love. Here he photographed the wonderful lives of kind people and cats.
