Episode synopsis
Seeing that MAN-HO and the other navy sailors lead a mass execution of pirates in public right in front of the naval barracks, CHEUNG PO-TSAI and the others are utterly consumed with rage. Throwing a dagger to challenge MAN-HO, they are determined to combat against the Guangdong Navy. Ahead of his departure, CHEUNG PO-TSAI hands an amulet of protection to TAI-MUI, who surprisingly recognizes that it is actually the old silver coin that will save her life in two hundred years, marking the beginning of their serendipitous romance! MAN-HO commands HON YUNG to battle against CHEUNG PO-TSAI, but HON YUNG gets cold feet and makes an excuse that he sustained severe injuries. During a high-speed motorboat chase with a criminal, Cheung Chau police officer Wong Tai-mui gets herself trapped in a waterspout, accidentally opening a time portal. She travels back 200 years to 19th century Hong Kong, a time when the island was under Qing rule. Using her knowledge of the future, which she keeps in an e-book, she saves a family of pirates from a deadly naval battle against the Qing naval fleet led by Prince Man-ho, the eleventh son of the Jiaqing Emperor. Puzzled by her mysterious origins, the family remains wary of Tai-mui and is hesitant in trusting her.
