Episode synopsis
LAI GONG GONG is getting ready to go back to the capital as soon as possible so as to report MAN-HO's victory over the pirates to Emperor JIAQING; whereas HA SIM prays to Goddess GUAN YIN for MAN-HO, revealing that she would like to follow a vegan diet in hopes of redeeming MAN-HO from his sin of killing. Interrogating captive TAI-MUI, MAN-HO coerces her to disclose CHEUNG PO-TSAI's whereabouts, but TAI-MUI refuses to do so, claiming that the reason why they became the pirates is all because of the navy. Apart from that, she even denounces the brutal crimes of the navy one after another to MAN-HO, MAN-HO then verifies what she said with SIU-FU, who frankly admits everything. In the meantime, YEE-TAI captures Scholar SUEN, and he together with Prince MAN-HONG and Prince MAN-LEUNG are interrogating and torturing the detainee in the prison cell.… ...

During a high-speed motorboat chase with a criminal, Cheung Chau police officer Wong Tai-mui gets herself trapped in a waterspout, accidentally opening a time portal. She travels back 200 years to 19th century Hong Kong, a time when the island was under Qing rule. Using her knowledge of the future, which she keeps in an e-book, she saves a family of pirates from a deadly naval battle against the Qing naval fleet led by Prince Man-ho, the eleventh son of the Jiaqing Emperor. Puzzled by her mysterious origins, the family remains wary of Tai-mui and is hesitant in trusting her. Meanwhile, at the royal court, Prince Man-ho becomes jaded from politics and family feud and decides to let go of his ambition for the crown.
