Episode synopsis
Wu Song bid farewell to his elder brother Wu Da, who knelt in respect, while Pan Jinlian, encouraged by Wang Po, sewed funeral garments at the teahouse. Ximen Qing arrived, praising Pan Jinlian’s skills and beauty. Wu Da, impressed by her efforts, advised her to bring a token of gratitude, which Pan Jinlian delivered to Madam Wang, who served Ximen Qing honeyed tea. Seizing the opportunity, Ximen Qing visited Wang Po’s house under the pretext of domestic troubles, flattered Pan Jinlian with compliments, and subtly touched her feet. Pan Jinlian feigned resistance but gradually yielded, and under Madam Wang’s threats, agreed to secretly meet Ximen Qing daily.
