Bannet Dosanjh's dream comes true as he gets to rock out in front of his idol Diljit. But will he be able to impress the voting audience? A bunch of talented singers like Shreyasi Bhattacharya and Piyush Panwar woo the hearts of the mentors with their impeccable performances. Rising Star is an Indian version of the international franchise series Rising Star. It is a reality television singing competition. The program format lets viewers vote for contestants live via the television channel's mobile app. This is the first reality television show in India which involves live audience voting.
