Profile of superstar Gloria Gaynor, the disco diva whose song, titled, "I Will Survive," inspired millions of fans with a confident message of hope, but for Gloria to survive, she had to overcome weight problems and agonizing self doubt. Just as Gloria was reaching the pinnacle of stardom, a freak stage accident nearly ended her career. Later, better conflict threatened her storybook marriage. Just when it seemed she put her troubles behind her, Gloria endured her greatest heart break - the brutal murder of her younger sister.
