The bandmates discuss their musical influences and lead singer Dave Gahan talks about his heroin addiction, his near brush with death due to a drug overdose and his arrest on felony drug charges. The band was nearly destroyed until Dave cleaned up his act in 1996. In 1998, they released their second greatest hits album and continue to have a massive worldwide following.
