Episode synopsis
MAN-KIT meets the woman with blue scarf. He runs after her but the woman has disappeared and she leaves the scarf behind. MAN-KIT looks at the scarf and he recalls that WING-YEE has lost the ceramic cup. During the 10th anniversary company dinner, HO KIN-YIP who has been paralyzed after a car accident is receiving the outstanding staff award. KIN-YIP thanks his wife CHAN KAI-NI for taking care of her during his speech. MAN-KIT learns from HAK-LOI that he has found the ceramic cup's owner. MAN-KIT arrives at the village house to discover a dead woman. KIT-YING learns that someone has died at KIN-YIP's home and she feels sorry for him. YAN YIN tries to learn more about the case from HEI-TUNG and she learns that the police have decided to arrest MAN-KIT. YAT-MING meets up with MAN-KIT. Kiu Man Kit is a knowledgeable gentleman living an affluent lifestyle who runs an online antique business. He has been living alone ever since the passing of his wife, Chong Wing Yi. Until one day, Kiu Man Kit comes across an insurance investigator names Yan Yin at the hospital, sending ripple effects to his quiet life. When Yan Yin tries to find out the cause of her late parents' accidental death, she discovers her life is somehow tied to his. In order to get closer to Yan Yin, Kiu Man Kit joins her insurance company to help with her investigation and gets to know her suitor, Cheuk Sing Yeung.
