Episode synopsis
SZE LOI-FUNG delivers the letter to the Crown Prince. The Crown Prince pretends that he is going to the Yellow River to settle the flooding issue. FUNG-SAM meets up with the Crown Prince and he suggests to unmask SONG TAK. SONG LIT has turned into a black snake to attack them but LOI-FUNG stops him. SUM-YEUNG discovers that SO-SZE is cooking. He remembers that a girl used to cook at his place when he was a child. SO-SZE reveals that she is that girl but SUM-YEUNG fails to remember her. The Carp is singing in the lake. The Crown Prince believes that she is a demon and he tries to attack her but he captures KAU TSIN-SHUI instead. FUNG-SAM urges him to release KAU TSIN-SHUI. KAU TSIN-SHUI predicts that something terrible will happen to the Crown Prince and FUNG-SAM. He plans to repay their kindness by that time. The Crown Prince is accompanied by FUNG-SAM and SZE LOI-FUNG……
About Under the Veil
The drama is told in three separate folklore stories about love, lust, vanity, greed and selfishness. {Changing Pins} - Male and female fraternal twins fall in love with different men with the same appearance. The older male twin has an homosexual affair with a Prince of the Liao Kingdom, while the female twin falls in love with a poor scholar. {Judge Lu} - A poor scholar has an affair with a courtesan that resembles his wife. {Chasing Fish} - A scholar becomes the object of affection to a fish spirit and human girl with the face.
