About this season
Lock-Up is an American legal drama series that premiered in syndication in September 1959 and concluded in June 1961. The half-hour episodes had little time for character development or subplots and presented a compact story without embellishment.

Maris and Lt. Weston go fishing on vacation. At the lodge they stay the owner is accused of murdering his adulterous wife. Rather than fish, Maris and Weston investigate.
2. The Case of Dan Gray
Aired 1 October 1960
Dan Gray invents an explosive formula similar to dynamite. After a golfer is killed with an exploding golf ball the inventor is arrested for murder. Maris and Lt. Weston investigate. Gloria Larkley is Dan's supporting girlfriend.
3. Skid Row Story
Aired 8 October 1960
Barney Klein lives on skid row and is accused of stealing money from a local half-way house. Maris defends Barney.
4. Flying High
Aired 15 October 1960
Jean Davis, a flight attendant, is murdered. When Maris investigates the case he discovers that many people had a reason to kill Ms. Davis. The problem is that all of them have solid alibis.
5. Beau and Arrow Case
Aired 22 October 1960
A psychologist, Dr. Von Heisinger, is murdered. The weapon: an arrow. Maris investigates.
6. The Frame Up

An ex-convict runs a gift shop and finds the dead body of a well known gangster in his shop. He is arrested for murder. Maris and Lt. Weston, who are friends of the accused, help in the investigation.

Bill Donati, a laborer, is accused of killing a local racketeer named Al Curis. Maris defends Bill.

Whitney Coleman is charged for murder when her estranged husband is found dead. Maris comes to her aid and investigates.

A friend of Maris is arrested for the murder of a detective. Maris is motivated to clear his friend and discovers the dead detective was running afoul of the law.

A Greek immigrant, Alexis George, receives a shipment of rare coins to sell from his mother in Greece but is burglarized in the process. A friend of Alexis is supected of murder and the robbery. Maris investigates.

A skeleton buried under a road is found by contruction workers. Maris investigates the possible crime.

Larry Wade is a policeman who decides to help out the victim of the crime instead of chasing the perpetrator. This places him in trouble with his superiors and is charged with dereliction of duty. Maris defends Wade which places him at odds with Lt. Weston.

A woman is charged and jailed for the murder of her husband. Her step-daughter, Jennifer, asks Maris to investigate the case because she believes in her step-mother. Jennifer turns out to be quite a sleuth and help Maris with the case.

A death of a prospector worries the owners of a mine and send Maris to protect their interests and investigate the crime.

Maris takes a trip to the zoo. A murder takes place and a zoo worker with a police record, fightened that he'll be the logical one arrested, panics and kidnaps Maris.

A cake is poisoned at an office party and the payroll is heisted. A man takes the blame for the crime. Maris is hired by the man's wealthy uncle to clear him.

A woman dies suddenly and it is ruled a suicide. The woman was a former client of Maris, and he is not so sure. Maris investigates.

Joe Tanner is an ex-convict but is now reformed and leading a good life. The police, however, charge him with a crime. Tanner claims he is innocent. Maris investigates.
