About this season
Series based on the short French farces written by Georges Feydeau, Eugène Labiche, Marc Michel and Sacha Guitry. All of them include mistaken identities and impeccable timing.

Two men-about-town plan a romantic evening in a private room at the Café Anglais. Unfortunately the lady picked up at the opera ball turns out to be very different from what they expected, and the evening is further complicated by the arrival of one of their wives.

A gentleman who is trying to rid himself of his mistress and marry a woman of property engages a servant who insults his master's future mother-in-law and puts all the plans in jeopardy.

In the plush interior of a private room at the Maison d'Or Restaurant two men-about-town arrange a tête-à-tête with two ladies whom they believe to be 'above reproach' but who prove to be exactly the opposite.

A middle-aged bachelor and his maiden sister anxiously await the arrival of a wealthy doctor and his daughter, to whom the bachelor is engaged. Both are unaware that they are in the power of their wily servant, who is able to hypnotise them.
