Kelsey doesn't realizes it's a prank call from one of the Haskell's tipsy party guests.

He recruits a nobody off the street to play poker on his behalf, win their "sucker money," and split the take with him. The three gambles at the table have other plans for Frank; he's shot by one of them under the table.
