About this season
Celebrity Mastermind is a British television quiz show broadcast by BBC television. The show is a spin-off of the long-running quiz show Mastermind, with the exception that all the contestants are celebrities. As with the main show, John Humphrys is the host and question-master. Magnus Magnusson was quizmaster on the 2003/04 episodes featuring Jonathan Meades as winner.

The big-name version of the deathless quiz transfers to BBC1 for a new mini-run. Tracy-Ann Oberman fields questions on the Imperial Roman family, Richard Whiteley tackles the BBC's history and programmes 1950-60, Edwina Currie is tested on Marie Curie and Simon King's subject is British wildlife. With quizmaster John Humphrys.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, Arabella Weir, Adam Woodyatt and Steve Rider are the famous faces in the last of this quiz mini-run. John Humphrys puts the quartet on the spot with questions on the life and works of Audrey Hepburn, the US soap Dallas, comedy classic Blackadder Goes Forth and the US Masters golf tournament.
