Fishtank is a cutting-edge, live-streamed interactive reality game show where contestants from diverse backgrounds face off inside The Fishtank. Participants face a series of elimination challenges designed to test their limits for a chance to win The Grand Prize. The rules are strict: contestants must stay indoors at all times with no internet, no privacy, and no weed.

Jon talks politics at the dinner table, Damiel leaves a special surprise in the upstairs toilet, and Josie makes it known that she is in it to win. Life coach Nick Caminos visits the house for the first time and leaves the fish with some advice.

In episode five, the house becomes flooded with a new type of pest: the freeloader. Freeloaders are not eligible to win the grand prize, but they can take up resources and win a cut of the house's scarce fishbucks. Egos bruise, fights erupt, and someone is going home.
