Based on the novel by Jane Austen, this period movie tells the story of Anne Elliot, spinster daughter of a British nobleman. Anne is unduly influenced by her society-oriented family's preference for a gentleman match and turns away a love interest, only to cross paths with him again seven years later. The movie explores societal conventions around marriage and class in 19th century England.
4. Crazy for a Kiss

This movie tells the story of the life of a young boy in Kansas who is committed by his parents to a mental institution for teenagers. In it, he will establish many friendships that will help him get over his problems and fears. It is a real-life, sometimes amusing, drama based on the life of comedian Michael McShane (I).
