About this season
Drama 61-67 is anthology drama series which took a different title, based on year of transmission, each year. It alternated with Armchair Theatre from ABC in the Sunday evening slot. The series was described at the time as epitomising ATV drama.

The title relates to the running time of the play, which is also the time span in which the drama takes place. Harry meets Sue at a night club and there is instant chemistry between them on the dance floor. After leaving separately, the self doubting, self critical Harry has one last chance as he meets Sue again at the train station.

Tom Cameron is found on the street dying from a gun shot wound, it would have been a routine column inch for newspaper reporter Mick Lambert, but he starts to get more involved as he discovers Cameron is from a good family but is also the suspect of a robbery involving just a pittance. A play that examines the increasing isolation in society and how everyone takes their piece from someone in trouble.
