Some of the doctors are preparing for the university Founders Ball.

Lewis is staying at the Hollins house, and he's getting weirder. Ellie can't get his mum's ring off her finger, and it's getting red, so Lewis threatens to cut her finger off, and Jack has a go at her too. Ellie tells Sia, so she confronts Lewis. Sia also gives him rotten marks for his course work, and says his book is violent rubbish. Both Ellie and Sia go to Simon, who is starting to get concerned. Rob sees his inspector about a possible promotion, and is told he's no chance.

Sia recovers from the fire at the university. She is convinced Lewis set it off. Simon believes her, but no-one else does. Lewis and Jack organize a boycott of all her lessons.
